I finished the Hopkins's Aunt Agnes's Bloomers, which I'm calling Brownie's Bloomers because of the color palette.
I especially like the faded border. I found this fabric on a sale rack at one of my favorite quilt shops and bought the remainder of the bolt. It looks so worn and faded, while being brand new and workable. My ideal fabric!
I cleaned up my quilt room after finishing this project so I can use it as an office for the next few weeks to finish off work-y projects (degree program proposals, etc.). So, if I get to any quilting, it will be applique.

A very nice quilt. I like your fabric choices.
What a darling little quilt, I too love the faded border.
Is it supposed to make you want to eat brownies? Because I could see getting all snug under that quilt, popping in a good dvd and eating some Cold Stone Creamery Chocolate Devotion? :-) Is that wrong?
This turned out darling. I love your border fabric. Give the quilt an old timey feel.
Great quilt! The border fabric is very nice. You have a wonderful quilt shop there. Thanks for the link.
Great quilt! It's so comforting! Also love the butterfly story in your previous post. Fun!
Love Brownie's Bloomers. I am making a pink and brown quilt for my granddaughter, who will arrive Sept. 12(scheduled csection). I am to the point of borders now. I had decided on a complicated border, but now, after seeing yours....well, who knows what I'll do! The butterfly story was great! How ironic.
I discovered that fabric line lately that you have in your border and I ADORE it. It looks totally antique-y.
What a beauty!!
Very pretty...I feel a need for more shirting fabric in my stash! Beautiful border. Good luck with the work-y projects.
